Eat Healthy & Lose Weight
Miller Lite’s slogan launched in the 1970s, “Tastes Great, Less Filling” parallels the conflict most people have when creating a diet for weight loss. They are motivated to lose weight, and therefore are willing to eat healthier foods.
They soon remember there is a reason they do not eat foods that are healthy for them. They remember that they dislike the taste of many raw fruits and vegetables. Their palate has been hijacked into thinking that if it is not coated in sugar or smothered in gravy that it is tasteless or downright undesirable.
Problem solved. Hypnosis has been used to remedy this issue. I worked with a young lady who was scheduled to have gastric bypass surgery. She wanted to ensure that she received the most benefit out of going through the costly (time and money) procedure. But, she had an affliction to eating anything green.
After utilizing hypnotherapy, her affliction with vegetables was resolved. While attending a church celebration dinner, she decided to test herself by adding green beans to her plate. After eating her meal, she went to clean her plate. Although she specifically did not remember eating the green beans, none were left. Other clients have reported positive results as well when eating foods they previously disliked. They were either indifferent to, liked, or craved healthy foods after experiencing hypnotherapy. They were happy because the had regained control of their eating habits and lives.
So, create positive outcomes while eating healthy foods. Invest in yourself by investing in hypnotherapy. Go from disliking the healthy foods you need to eat to lose weight to craving them. Resolve the conflict of “Tastes Great, Less Filling”.
